Leaders of the World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) and the South East Asian Cooperation (SEACO) Foundation on Wednesday highly praised Bangladesh’s impressive economic progress in the last one decade.
Bangladesh attained tremendous development in the field of economy in the last one decade under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, they said, reports BSS.
Their appreciation came when a seven-member delegation of WIEF and SEACO Foundation, led by WIEF Secretary General Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official Ganabhaban residence in the city this afternoon.
PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed reporters after the meeting.
The WIEF and SEACO Foundation leaders said they had a productive dialogue at the WIEF-SEACO Foundation roundtable in Dhaka. The roundtable with the theme of ‘Regional Collaboration: Transforming Economies’ was held in a city hotel on Tuesday.
